Delete a School

Follow this procedure to delete a School from your Studywiz deployment.

1.       From the Hierarchy Management menu select Classes. The Classes page appears.

2.       Find the School you want to delete and click the School button. A list of Classes within the School appears.

Before you can delete the School, you need to delete each Class.

3.       Adjacent to each Class click the edit button. The Edit Class panel appears.

4.       In the Edit Class panel click Manage Teachers. The User Selection page appears and displays the Selected Teachers and User Search panels.

5.       Click Remove All Users. A confirmation dialog box appears.

6.       Click OK. All Teachers are removed from the Class and the ‘Users Removed’ notification appears.

7.       Click Return. The Classes page reappears and displays the Browse by School/Class and Edit Class panels.

8.       In the Edit Class panel click Manage Students. The User Selection page appears and displays the Selected Students and User Search panels.

9.       Click Remove All Users. A confirmation dialog box appears.

10.     Click OK. All Students are removed from the Class and the ‘Users Removed’ notification appears.

11.     Click Return. The Classes page reappears and displays the Browse by School/Class and Edit Class panels.

12.     In the Edit Class panel click Delete. A confirmation dialog box appears.

13.     Click OK. The Class is deleted from the School and the ‘Deleted’ notification appears.

14.     Repeat steps 3 to 13 for each Class in the School you are deleting.

15.     From the Hierarchy Management menu select Schools. The Schools page appears.

16.     Locate the School you want to delete and click the edit button. The Edit School panel appears.

17.     Click Delete. A confirmation dialog box appears.

If the Delete link is not visible, check that you have deleted all Classes from the School.

18.     Click OK. The School is deleted and the ‘Deleted’ notification appears.
