Move an Activities Folder

You cannot move activities individually, but move whole folders from a class or group to another class or group. In a multi-school deployment, you can move activities from one school to another, or within one school.

Follow this procedure to move a folder from one location to another.

1.       From the Activities menu select Activity Move. The Move Activities page appears.

2.       In the Select Source panel, from the School drop-down list, select the School that contains the Activity Folder.

3.       From the Classes drop-down list, select the Class that contains the Activity Folder. The Folders field appears. It contains a list of all the folders in the Class.

4.       In the Folders list, select the folder(s) you want to move.

To select multiple folders, press the Command (Macintosh) or Ctrl (Windows) key.

5.       In the Select Destination panel, from the School drop-down list, select the School to which you want to move the Folder(s).

6.       Select the Class(es) to which you want to move the activities.

To copy Activities rather than move them, include the original Class in the Destination selection.

7.       If you want to leave the ‘published’ status of the activities within the Folder as-is, ensure the Leave ‘published’ status as-is checkbox is selected.

8.       Click the Move Activities button. A confirmation dialog box appears.

9.       Click OK. The Folder is moved to the new location and the ‘Activities Moved’ notification appears.
