Simple Assessment mode makes assessment management as simple as possible for teachers. Assessments in Simple Assessment mode contain only the essential information needed to set up a useful assessment. A Simple Assessment lets you set up a marking scheme and publish it for use in a class or group.

Advanced Assessments provide a greater range of scheduling options, including the ability to schedule across different classes, groups and even schools at different times. They also include the ability to accurately model competency based and criteria based assessments using Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups. These accommodate the needs of particular schools and curriculum frameworks that require a multi-level Assessment structure.
