Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups

Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups are subsections that you can add to an Advanced Assessment. If an Assessment contains Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups, a teacher can mark a student on each additional assessment item defined in the tasks/groups, then give a mark for the Assessment as a whole. Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups do not need their own Result Definitions.

You can add further subsections to Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups:

•          Within a Task you can create sub-Tasks, Criteria Groups and Competency Groups,

•          Within a Criteria Group, you can create new Criteria,

•          Within Competency Groups, you can create Competencies.

This allows you to set up Assessments with a complex structure composed of different elements.
